An eight-day journey through central Croatia following historical and natural waterways. Starting in Karlovac with a river Kupa cruise and a visit to the Aquatika aquarium, the journey continues through Plitvice Lakes and Baraćeva Caves to the thermal springs of Topusko. The route leads through Hrvatska Kostajnica and Zrinska Gora to Jasenovac and Lonjsko Polje, exploring the region’s rich history, traditions, and biodiversity. The final destination is Sisak, a former Roman metropolis at the confluence of Kupa and Sava rivers. The journey combines natural beauty, cultural heritage, and educational elements, with special emphasis on water’s role in shaping the region’s landscape and history.
